The Green Book Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to using technology, training, and education to link local, small, and often minority-owned businesses with the global tourism economy, fostering entrepreneurship and advancing economic stability.

    The Green Book Institute strongly believes that sustainable tourism is critical in culturally rich destinations where preservation, interpretation and restoration of natural habitats remain intact to address the needs of the visitor.

    The Green Book Institute established Internships create opportunities for individuals to acquire first hand experience and training in various aspects of travel, tourism, and hospitality

  • ENTREPRENEURSHIP

    The Green Book Institute is committed to strengthening small businesses using resources, training, and development to help them compete in an ever-changing global travel environment. The Green Book Institute celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship by encouraging and supporting minority owned, travel-related businesses and enterprises with monetary grants.

  • DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION

    The Green Book Institute annually presents the coveted GBX PIONEER awards, acknowledging individuals or organizations, in or out of the travel, tourism, hospitality industry, who have demonstrated an exceptionally outstanding commitment to fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on a national or international level.
